Fento has been presented at XML Prague as a possible optimization
on the Java / Xml binding aproach. Fento (now Xesta) eases the
Object / XML Binding on the simpler cases and is based on Java
Annotations and modern XPath.
Fento (now Xesta) relies on Saxon (www.saxonica.com) for the XPath
exploration and allows to bind object estructures and lists. It
does not require to map all the XML structure in Java, and focus
only on the meaningful parts of the information.
